Hello Librarians! We're DREAMING of Summer Reading...
Dream BIG - READ...Creatures of the NIGHT!
Celebrate nocturnal animals with us as we see your favorite creatures of the night! You‚ll see an Owl, Alligator, Skunk, Frog, Snake and of course BUGS! What other furry mammals are nocturnal? How about an Anteater or Armadillo , a Coatimundi or Kinkajou, a Rat or Hedgehog, or maybe even a Fox! People are fascinated by the nighttime animals and myth and legends abound regarding them. We'll explore such lore and learn about how animals survive in the dark. Coming to you this summer! Visit our Libraries page for more info!

FAREWELL, OUR BEAR
Did you ever see Bear the Dog before in a Silly Safari Show? If you did then you know he was the star of the show! He was funnier than Amazon John and he wrote his own material! For over ten years Bear entertained audiences with his “Roll Over” trick, his chasing Amazon John, and of course his comedy classic growl and snarl smile. He was even in a movie with that bit! We want you to know that during the night on September the 14th Bear passed away in his sleep at the age of 13 years old. He had come out of retirement this past summer and enjoyed his
